Brendan Fraser | Biography

The handsome and talented actor of Hollywood, Brendan Fraser is a well-known name in the movie industry. He has a charming face and has an immensely dignified boyish screen presence, which captivates the audience. An actor by profession he has been renowned from the series of Mummy franchise where he played the lead character that hunts the graves of Mummies and treasures. Apart from the lead role in the Mummy franchise he has also done numerous other movies which has been equally appreciated and acclaimed. He has a unique sense of comedy and dazzles the audience with his sense of humor.

 

He felt the first verse of life in Indianapolis, lies under Indiana of United State of America in December 3, 1968. He holds a dual nationality of Canada and America. He has two brothers from his parents, Carol Mary and Peter Fraser. His ethnicity of ancestors varies from Germany, Czech and France. He spent his early childhood traveling and settled in various states of America. He studied in private boarding school and attended Upper Canada College based in Toronto. He completed his graduation from Cornish College of Arts based in Seattle in 1990. He also was a student of theatre from West End. His passion towards the movie industry led him to production, thus he stayed in Los Angeles after his studies.

 

He had the face and enthusiasm to be an actor but it came to him with a short appearance in America’s Most Wanted in 1988. He was casted in Encino Man where he got the chance to play the lead. His career kicked off when he acted alongside Matt Damon and Chris O’Donnell for the movie School Ties. He had other movie venture where he got casted for his comic sense, which includes Airheads in 1994, The Scout and With Honors. With so much of experience in acting he had roles to please the audience from his comedy apart from serious roles. He appeared in The Passion of Darkly Noon in 1995 and The Twilight of the Golds in 1997. His acting career came to the notice of the large audience from his breakthrough performance in the acclaimed movie George of the Jungle in 1997, which led him to star in other comedy flicks like Blast Form the Past in 1999, Bedazzled in 2000, Monkeybone in 2001 and Dudley Do Right. Apart from comedy he has also done major serious character roles in the 1998 movie Gods and Monsters and the 2002 movie The Quiet American.

 

Although having limited success from his movies and his stardom in rise his major blockbuster role came from the movie The Mummy released in 1999 which stared Rachel Weisz alongside him. His grand success of the movie led to sequels of the flick like The Mummy Returns in 2001. His fame skyrocketed from the movie and he was a well appreciated superstar from the movie with large female fan following. Te charisma and style he enacted in the movie had a great response from the audience and the movie fraternity. He also got featured in Crash, which won Academy Award. From his high ranked stardom he also appeared in small screen in shows like Scrubs, King of the Hill and The Simpsons. Through is acclaims acquired from the movies he played in, he got inducted in Canada’s Walk of Fame in March 2006. He appeared again as the treasure and Mummy hunter in the sequel of The Mummy in 2008 named The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. He has been featured in numerous of movies, which include Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Elling and Whole Lotta Sole to name the few. His huge reputation has fetched him with credits and honors and also with high net worth. The amazing quality of influencing the audience with his performance and his boyish face with blonde hairs is exceptionally provoking.

 

Brendan Fraser got married to Afton Smith in September 27 of 1998 and has been blessed by three sons from his wife, namely Griffin Arthur Fraser, Holden Fletcher Fraser and Leland Francis Fraser. This couple had divorce and had the settlement of alimony with dispute and conspiracy.
